Thought of the day
Shit Happens.
But if you allow yourself to think, shit will happen.
You will prepare for shit to happen.
Subconsciously, causing shit to happen.
If you choose not to accept that shit will happen, it
is likely less shit will happen.
So, in your mind does shit happen?
Adulthood is determined by how you answer question.

I think we have to take it a layer deeper. For instance I know that shit can happen but that doesn't mean I accept that shit WILL happen. The "awareness" factor in a mind is also part of the key.
But yes I agree with u
And I agree with sj.
In my mind shit does happen, it just doesn't happen to me ;P
LOL GOOD ONE Marieseda. I think shit happens to everyone, I just focus on when it will go away CUZ IT ALWAYS DOES and not on the fact that its happening ( when its happening).. but I dont think about it in advance.. . ,..i think...am i making sense?
Yes babe that did make sense. Diogo hasn't come back yet to agree or not but I would say that (bland sounding or not) the +ve outlook outweighs some fear or bleakness
Yup, I do agree with your comments.
Not something Diogo likes to admit. I'm starting to appreciate how a +ve outlook effects life. Suzy, how did you come across this concept and how is it you came to incorporative it into your life? This is a very difficult thing to do.
The idea is common, but to find someone who uses it, is rare.
I'm replying late to this post,.. anyway, I have to agree with Sj... knowing that shit can happen doesn't necessarily follow shit will happen. But sometimes knowing that shit can happen helps you be a little bit more prepared so that when and if it does happen, it doesn't catch you off guard.
Life doesn't always go as planned and sometimes that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
